George Russell
“Russ”
Ferrell, the son of George Edward and Mary C. Ferrell, was born and
raised in
Charlotte County, VA. He graduated from
Randolph Henry High School, and in July 1980 he entered the U. S. Army. He took his Basic Training at Fort McClellan,
AL. and entered into the Military Police.

In December of that year he was assigned to Detachment E 42nd MP Customs as a Military Customs Inspector. In 1983 he was transferred to Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico until 1985. After a short time in civilian life he rejoined the Army, still in Puerto Rico and for the next few years worked as a Patrolman, Desk Sgt., Military Police Investigator and Court Security Officer.


He
is bilingual English and Spanish and has
made his home in Puerto Rico for over 33 years.
