Gauldin are held & firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in the just and full sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars good and lawful money of Virginia to which payment well and truly to be made we find ourselves our heirs we jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dates this 22 day of March 1850.  The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound David S. Wilbon and Harriet H. Dickerson a daughter of John G.
