Born:   December 31, 1947  Uncle Carol was born and raised on Brickhouse Road, Randolph, Charlotte Co. VA.  He was the son of George Edward and Floris Virginia Dickerson.  

Died:   August 16, 1968  Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam   (KIA – Ground Casualty – Other Explosive Device)  He was killed when a bomb blew up, in a jeep, that he was standing by.  The letter was returned unopened telling him of his only child.
