Edna L. Wisniewski was born in Charlotte Co., VA., the daughter of Joseph Newton and Annie B. Chapman, on April 30, 1918. She died on December 11, 1994 at the VA Hospital in Durham, N.C. She enlisted in the Navy on April 20, 1944 and served as a Health Records Clerk, being discharged on December 15, 1945. She is buried at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randolph, Charlotte Co., VA. Her husband Paul also served in the Navy during the war.
