R.T. Robertson, of Lynchburg, spent a day this week at his farm near this place.
Mrs. Byron Spindler and children, of Blackstone, are visiting her mother, Mrs. E.C. Middleton.

Many of our young people were deprived of the pleasure of attending the unveiling on account of the swollen streams.
Robt. East, jr., of South Boston, is visiting his uncle, B.N. Holt.
Miss Edna Jenkins, of Lynchburg, spent several days last week with her aunt, Miss Jessie Reames, at Harrisburg.
Miss Mary Milton, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. F.W. Hunt, at McKeesport, Pa., will return home soon.
Miss Lottie Sublett, who has been visiting for some time at John Reames, has returned to her home in Lynchburg.
Joe Edmonds, of Danville, is on a four days visit with his sisters at T.N. Gaines.
