Bouldin Wade Duffey was born on February
29, 1936 in Charlotte County, Va. the son of Arthur Sidney and Fannie
Newcomb Duffey. He was raised in Charlotte Co., Va., and died in
Alabama on April 5, 2016.
As a young man, Bouldin entered into the service of his country in the U.S. Army where he served honorably for 30 years. He saw service in the Korean War for one tour and two tours in Vietnam. Throughout his years of service he was decorated with numerous awards including two Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and four Bronze Stars.
After his retirement from the military he enjoyed his hobbies of hunting and fishing; he loved the beach and the mountains as well as horses and building race cars.
Bouldin was laid to rest in Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum, Morganton, Burke Co. N.C.
