He married 2nd. Sallie Bowles March 22, 1885 in Goochland Cty., Va. She was born in Louisa Cty., Va., daughter of Washington Bowles and Mollie. He married 3rd. Rosa “Rosie” Stout1 (alias “Rosa Stout”) November 14, 1891 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Cty., N.C. She was born October 2, 1869 in Bristol,Tn. and died July 4, 1948 in Forsyth Cty., N.C., daughter of Dan Stout and Holly Tyree.
