Mrs. George Vaiden Buried At Wyllieburg

Mrs. Virginia Estelle Vaiden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Seay of Barnesville, and the late Mrs. Mary Seay, died in Southside Community Hospital, Farmville on January 26 after an operation of which she was seemingly recovering.  She was expecting to return to her home at Red Oak on January 25, but due to the unusually bad weather, she was forced to remain there for a few days longer, but God saw fit to take her to her eternal home rather than her earthly home.  We hate to lose such a good friend, wife and mother as she has been, but God knows best even though it was hard to give her up.  Her health has been poor for the past few months, but no one thought of it being serious.
Mrs. Vaiden received her education in the local schools and married at an early age.  She has been an excellent seamstress for some years and has done quite a bit of sewing for people in the community.  She has also been very good in growing flowers and always had a quantity of beautiful ones.
She was kind and good to everyone and always had a smile and pleasant words for those in which she came in contact.
She is survived by her husband, George A., one daughter, Audrey and one son Raymond of Red Oak; also her father, Mr. Sam Seay of Barnesville and Sammy of near Saxe, and two half sisters, Mrs. Charlie Cassada of near Rehoboth and Mrs. Charlie Hornberger of Highland Springs.
Pall bearers were H.H. and Daniel Shelton, John H. Jones, Wyatt Hall, Berkley Weston and Horseley Jones.  Flowers were carried by men in the community.
Interment was in the Wylliesburg Baptist Cemetery.  Services were conducted by Rev. W.F.F. Little in the church on January 29.
A FRIEND.
