IN MEMORIAM
Henry Owen died at his home, near Coles Ferry, on Friday, Feb. 17th, from small-pox. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn their loss. All of the family had the disease, but in a mild form, but owing to his delicate health, he succumbed.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which now can never be filled.
Dear friend, do not mourn for your loved one, but prepare to meet him in that bright world where sorrow never comes. The Lord giveth and taketh, and knows best when to take us and our friends. We are not here to make our home but to prepare for a better world. May God bless you in your affliction
Feb. 21. A TRUE FRIEND
