Pattie Smith Will Marry In England
Mr. and
Mrs. Ormonde Smith, of "Oakland," announce the engagement of their
daughter, Pattie Venable, to Captain Donn Grey Kaylor, of Indianapolis.
Miss
Smith was graduated from Montreat Junior College and State Teachers' College in
Farmville, where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. She
also studied at the University of Virginia and New York University. At
present she is doing field service with the American Red Cross in England.
Captain
Kaylor is the son of Mrs. Robert L. Kaylor and the late Mr. Kaylor, of
Indianapolis. He was graduated from the University of Indiana, and
received his commission at Miami Beach Training School in 1942. He is now
serving overseas as Special Service Officer with the Air Corps.
The
wedding will take place in the late Winter.
